D4Women in Action’s mission is to expand and invigorate the ability of Black women and women of color to create social, economic, political and global change for the communities we support around the globe.
While D4Women in Action will strengthen the legislative and political presence of Black women and women of color and will support Black and underserved communities around the nation, the goal of D4Women in Action is to laser focus public policy issues important to our community that Deltas have stood by for decades to create the largest impact possible.
D4Women in Action will advance the voice, presence and status of Black women and women of color in the legislative, administrative rule making and political arenas, and will build a pipeline and network of Black women and women of color engaged in enhanced, concerted and sustained social action, civic engagement and involvement in public affairs and the political process.
